We fell in love with raffia shoes from Morocco. They just ooze old Hollywood or that retro Riviera style Artisans in Essaouira have been making them the same way for decades and they worked with us to make a few modifications to the sole and toe shape to fit our vision. It takes a day for a young maker to make one pair of shoes, half a day for an experienced one. These Moroccan slippers are a wonderful alternative to a classic loafer or an espadrille. What better to celebrate the change of the seasons than seasonal footwear?
